Your Soul Health Matters.
I believe there is a place within each of us that life touches long before anyone else can see the evidence. It is the soul. Life has a way of changing us. Trauma, disappointment, grief, rejection, transition, heartbreak, and even the responsibility of simply holding everything together can cause us to build walls around our hearts, disconnect from ourselves, and learn how to survive without ever realizing how tired our souls have become. I know this because I have lived it.
There was a time when I had to rediscover the courage to believe in “Kimberly” — the woman beneath everything that had happened to her. Through setbacks, disappointment, loss, transition, and some of the darkest seasons of my life, God continued to remind me that my circumstances did not have the authority to define me. I learned that surviving was not the end of my story — Restoration was.
But over the years, my understanding of restoration has deepened. I now understand that being restored is about more than rebuilding what was broken around us. We must also tend to what has been happening within us.
Our emotional wellness matters.
Our spiritual wellness matters.
Our relationships matter.
Our boundaries matter.
Our ability to rest matters.
Our ability to experience peace, joy, connection, and presence matters.
Our Soul Health Matters.
That belief has become the heartbeat of my life's work. Soul Health Matters is rooted in the understanding that we cannot continually pour from our lives while neglecting the condition of the soul doing the pouring. We deserve spaces where we can become still, breathe, examine what we are carrying, reconnect with God, reconnect with ourselves, and permit our souls to heal. Because I believe something profoundly simple:
When we care for the soul, the soul cares for the body.
My work — through ministry, teaching, books, music, meditation, coaching, conversations, and transformative Soul Health experiences — is designed to help people move beyond merely surviving their stories and begin intentionally tending to their inner lives. And I still believe what I have believed from the beginning:
There is something within you greater than what happened to you.
Your experiences do not have to become limitations. Your stumbling blocks can become stepping stones. Your pain can produce wisdom. Your survival can become testimony. And with God, even the places you thought were lost can be restored.
You can heal.
You can become whole.
You can rediscover yourself.
You can live peacefully and presently.
And yes — you can be RESTORED TO POWER.
But perhaps power looks different than we once imagined. Sometimes power is not pushing harder. Sometimes power is resting. Sometimes power is setting the boundary. Sometimes power is releasing what you cannot control. Sometimes power is choosing peace. Sometimes power is becoming still enough to hear what your soul has been trying to tell you.
So now, with greater clarity, I can declare: “This is the work. This is the message. Your Soul Health Matters.
“When we care for the Soul - the Soul cares for the body.”
