I REMEMBER WHEN...

DEAR GOD,

I remember the last 16 years of visions, tears, and prayers. I remember the dreams you woke me up in the middle of the night with. I remember you giving me books in my sleep and forcing me out of bed at 3am to pour out an outline. I remember saying no on Friday nights and sometimes whole weekends to lock myself in at home and write. I remember the heartache, emotional pain, and struggling through life and hearing your voice say "Keep Writing". I remember how I would finish writing a book; then, praying over total strangers who would one day read my books and be inspired to run their own race with Conviction, Endurance, and Confidence.I remember working in customer service at Bellsouth.Net - with my bible and notes open on my desk and writing my book a between calls. I remember walking away from Corporate America and thinking "Lord what next??" Most of all, now that I'm here and my calendar is booked faster than I can turn my head: I REMEMBER THE ASSIGNMENT!! I remain HUMBLE because..... "I REMEMBER WHEN".
